Green Keeper - the gardening friend among the STEMA trailers

Summer is still in full swing, but garden enthusiasts and landscaping professionals are already preparing for the autumn because they will have plenty to be getting on with soon. Whether it’s planting or replanting, transporting leaves, harvests, green waste, and wood, or distributing compost – the right trailer can make a big difference here. Get to know the STEMA Green Keeper.

As a low-loader with a practical loading ramp, the Green Keeper supports hobby gardeners and experts with the work that needs to be done in the autumn such as the transportation of green waste, hay, straw, leaves, compost, wood, and more. This makes the trailer ideal for building yards, garden landscapers, caretakers, groundskeepers, gardeners, homeowners and many more besides.

The unmistakable trademark feature of the Green Keeper is the sturdy, 116-centimetre-high mesh rear panel. It can be folded down and used as a ramp, for instance, for small garden tillers or wheelbarrows. But that’s not everything by a long shot: The mesh gate can also be used as a pass-through sieve – for instance, for compost soil. It can also be completely removed to this end if required. The ramp is secured using STEMA safety locks with a comfortable red soft grip and can handle loads of up to 250 kilograms.

More space and stability

With an internal box size of 201 x 108 centimetres, the Green Keeper can be used to transport a large amount of green cuttings and the like. The payload of up to 622 kilograms also offers plenty of scope for expansion. A three-sided high cover with a height of 80 centimetres and the corresponding high frame are available as matching accessories. This allows more greenery to be stacked and transported. The colour of the cover? Obviously, green! For the colour experts among you: it resembles RAL 6016.

The UV-resistant cover is processed in STEMA's in-house tarpaulin sewing shop and is hard-wearing and weatherproof. The cover functions as a raised side panel and is fixed in place in such a way that even green waste loaded above the height of the side walls cannot fall out.

Secure load, safe journey

Four lashing hooks on the loading area facilitate the secure fastening of the load if, for instance, a tree stump or small garden machinery needs to be transported. The galvanised, durable drop sides are also equipped with hook-in buttons for the attachment of covers or nets. And to ensure everything functions reliably on the road, the STEMA V-drawbar and the robust rubber spring axle with independent wheel suspension provide excellent tracking characteristics and optimal road handling.

The stable chassis and the maintenance-free compact wheel bearings guarantee stability, reliability and safety. For more comfort when manoeuvring and stability when loading, an optional jockey wheel and parking supports with a locking mechanism can be added to the Green Keeper package. The tow ball coupling with safety indicator securely indicates whether the coupling has correctly locked properly before travelling.
